In September 2023 we had the chance to stage the exhibition “Afrikanische Kunst” (African Art) at “Donaueinkaufszentrum”, a large and well-established shoppping mall in Regensburg (Germany). Here we combined presenting analogue prints of some of the Chiyesu artworks with a digital presentation on screens.
While the prints in aludibond style – otherwise used in sophisticated photo exhibitions – displayed traditional scenes, mostly in rural settings, the screen show focused on kids and youth: The young Zambia!
The Chiyesu part of the exhibition was complemented by another display portraying young Zambian artist Bwalya Bwalya’s work in a video. Bwalya was born in Mansa and has lived in Neuss (Germany) for about 6 years.
Besides staging exhibitions, we also make artworks accessible to art collectors and art lovers. The Chiyesu artworks are available as prints on canvas or aludibond in different sizes. Every artwork is available just in limited numbers.
